Non-public fairness funding fund Introduction Worldwide has acquired a majority shareholding of the group behind area of interest perfume manufacturers Parfums de Marly and Initio Parfums Privés.
Parfums de Marly was based in 2009 by Julien Sprecher, impressed by his ardour for the splendour of 18th century France, whereas Initio Parfums Privés was born in 2015, out of the will to create singular and useful fragrances that set off an emotional and physiological response.
Parfums de Marly and Initio Parfums Privés are already well-established within the US, Europe and the Center-East. Introduction Worldwide intends to speed up their world progress, in partnership with Julien Sprecher, who will stay with the manufacturers as Government Chairman, Inventive Director and as a big minority shareholder.
Monetary phrases of the transaction weren’t disclosed, however some media reviews referring to business sources estimated the deal would exceed a complete of USD 700 million.
